USA Career Resources Founder and President, Mary Anne Thompson, established Going Global when she was an unemployed “trailing spouse” living in Stockholm, Sweden. Prior to formally launching USA Career Resources/Going Global in January 2001, she was a columnist and speaker for MonsterEurope and was the career columnist for Svenska Dagbladet the largest newspaper in Sweden. Mary Anne is the author of The Global Resume and CV Guide, the first book on the market with job hunting guidelines for 40 countries (John Wiley & Sons – publisher, 1999)

Mary Anne served as an attorney and adviser to President Ronald Reagan in the White House and served in a similar role for Secretary of Transportation Elizabeth Dole. She was appointed by former President George Bush to the U.S. Small Business Advisory Council in recognition of her many entrepreneurial activities.
